One of my favorite things to do is watch artists do their thing on You Tube. I love that I can find an endless supply of art demos, product reviews, tips and tricks. When I was in High School and I was on the tennis team I was told to watch games on TV because it would make me a better player. It totally did. Now I find that when I watch artists create artwork I also create better artwork. One day I might also create my own You Tube channel to help other artists improve their work or just to demonstrate how I create my art. One of my favorite artists to watch: Watercolor Painting Lessons - Wash Techniques by Art Food Kitty - Kelly Eddington

I have finished my collection of postcards and greeting cards for the Relay for Life walk I will be doing on May 15th. This was a great way to get myself back into a routine of painting almost daily. I loved crating all the different designs and I hope they bring joy to the many people they will be sent to in the future. All proceeds from my sales will go back into the Relay for Life fund.
I took a photo of my Orchid's shadow on the wall. I had been staring at the Orchid as the shadow got darker and thinking about what shapes I saw. I created a face in the shadow, an angry face, maybe a face of an angry clown? I see something cartoonish, I see potential. I have always loved looking at weird shapes in shadows, ink spots, clouds...etc. and making those shapes into something else in my mind. Maybe I should start a series of drawings or paintings off of these images I create. What do you see here in this shadow? What can you create from it?
